Welcome to Follow your Dream Farm

It all started in 2004 with 3 Barbado sheep we rescued from a local SPCA - then two donkeys adopted from a local donkey rescue.

We raise miniature sheep:  Registered Southdown Babydolls, Cheviot Dolls and Barbado Dolls.

Located in Southside Virginia near the North Carolina border we recently settled into a 50 acre farm where our sheep now enjoy beautiful pastures and a lovely barn.

We are committed to natural methods of raising our animals.   No chemicals - no drugs unless absolutely necessary.

To see pictures of our farm or animals, either click on any of the Gallery Tag links listed on the left side of the page or choose the link on the individual animal page.  Check out my blog for farm updates and please add comments.

On Duty

2017 LAMBING is right around the corner.

Last year I must have had 75 people on a wait list - I even turned people away after a bit. Then, coming lambing time, all but two backed out. This year I am requiring a $100 deposit to be placed on the wait list. It will be applied to the purchase price of a lamb. It is refundable ONLY if I do not have the lamb(s) requested. Otherwise it is forfeited. Here are prices for 2017:
Babydoll rams and ewes $600
Babydoll wethers $400
Barbi-Dolls or Cheviot-Dolls $250
(these are crosses) - if wether
desired - add $25)
I expect lambs on the ground starting the end of April. I do not release them until they are weaned - usually 8 weeks but could be a week or two longer. I do not dock tails.
Best way to get on list is to email me at Specify breed (babydoll, Barbi-Doll, Cheviot-Doll), sex (ram, ewe, wether), and color preference (black or white). I accept Paypal.

Best way to reach me if via email:

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made... (John 1:3-4) And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so. (Genesis 1:24)
